Soul Health XXXXV

The recent discovery at the former Kamloops Indian Residential School


of 215 unmarked child graves should horrify us as Canadians and as Christian believers:

- Statement from the CCCB (Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops)
 
- The 50 Catholic Religious Organizations and Dioceses responsible for the Residential Schools: 1991 Apology reported on the Aboriginal Peoples TV Network: why "it’s not appropriate" for either the CCCB or the Pope to issue and apology (concurred with by the current AFN National Chief, and former Chief Phil Fontaine, himself a residential school survivor)

Pray for the children who lost their lives at the Kamloops school, for the aboriginal peoples of this their land, and that we may be ministers of healing and reconciliation.

Last weekend of 4 Masses



- The weekend of June 12/13 we will return to our former schedule: 4pm Saturday and 9:30am Sunday masses only
 
- As 100 people will be permitted, no pre-registration will be required



Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) offered

30 minutes prior to each mass



Weekday Masses continue to be celebrated on Tuesday & Thursday at 11am

in the Sacristy. Enter by the Moffat St. door.


Let us together give thanks for the Gift of the Holy Eucharist,

which binds us together as one people across many nations.
